The autonomiaexpo.org was created as a subsequent of the Autonomia EXPO in order to become an informational tool for the consumer with disability and with special consuming needs, for the professionals in the field of health, social care, rehabilitation and special education, but also for the businessmen/women who desire to attract customers with disabilities.

The autonomiaexpo.org was created with the purpose to bring together all the websites that are useful or show in practice their interest in the minority of people with disabilities, the children with special educational needs and the social environment. That’s why having the banner of the autonomiaexpo.org in every website is very important, so as to become easy for people to find it when they need it, since the minority of disabled people is the only minority into which everyone, irrespective of the educational level, economical status, age, beliefs, wishes and social origin, might -at anytime and unexpectedly- enter.

Just like autonomiaexpo.org, the Autonomia EXPO is something much more than a display of products and services. It’s an exhibition of the disability itself as an experience and a difference in conditions and terms of life.

Autonomia EXPO wants to change the enterprises (proving that the consumer with disability represents a dynamic market), but it also wants to change the consumer with disability and with special consuming needs (in order for him/her to be able to make informed choices of independency) as, rightly or wrongly, technology is a part of our lives and since we can not live without it, at least let’s make it to serve our personal needs, because, eventually, the most reliable advocate and supporter is technology; the properly selected technology.

Autonomia EXPO is trying to make the impossible and the unachievable, real. Through the autonomiaexpo.org, the www.DISABLED.GR but also the DISABILITY NOW magazine, we can prove that, when Disability itself as an experience and a difference in life terms inspires and leads us, nothing is unachievable.

Otherwise, neither www.DISABLED.GR would be the most popular disability website in the world, nor DISABILITY NOW magazine would be the largest disability magazine in Greece.
Within the same concept, the autonomiaexpo.org has great potentials, since, even though it is still at an experimental level, it will soon be first in the search engines and it will forward many visitors to the websites linked with it, because it will shortly become a complete -every day updated- guide.

No, autonomiaexpo.org is not interested in notability. It wants to inform people with disabilities, their social environment, the professionals and everyone else who want to approach the community of disabled people and address the factors that form it.

On the other hand, the 3 days that Autonomia EXPO will last are not enough to cover the needs of these particular groups of people and that’s the reason why the autonomiaexpo.org was created: to be an ongoing display of all the things that concern people with disabilities.
